Workplace Issues & Mental Health
Therapy and Support
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious due to workplace stressors?
If left unmanaged, workplace stress can have a negative impact on your mental health, job performance and interpersonal relationships.
Therapy with a Psychologist can provide a safe and confidential environment to openly discuss your concerns, identify stressors and develop effective coping strategies to improve your confidence, wellbeing, and workplace performance.
Discuss your concerns, questions, goals, and challenges with a Psychologist.
Through evidence-based therapies, such as CBT Therapy, a psychologist can equip you with tools to manage anxiety, improve assertiveness and communication, and enhance resilience.
Experience the benefits of therapy, including enhanced understanding, resilience, coping skills, and long-term wellbeing.

Take our confidential Anxiety and Depression Test (K10) to help you understand whether your feelings of anxiety or depression are transient and likely to resolve independently or whether it would be advisable to seek professional support.
If you have experienced a work-related psychological injury, you may be eligible for support through WorkCover Queensland. Here’s how it works:
To access funded psychological support, you must first lodge a claim with WorkCover Queensland along with a Work Capacity Certificate from your GP.
It’s important to find a psychologist who has experience in your areas of concern. They must be registered with WorkCover Queensland to ensure you can access funded support.
Once your claim is submitted, WorkCover will fund one initial psychology session. Once your claim is approved, more sessions may be recommended.
To access psychological support funded by WorkCover Queensland, it is essential to choose a psychologist who is registered with WorkCover. Not all psychologists offer this option, as only those who have completed the necessary registration process can provide services covered by WorkCover.
When seeking treatment for work-related mental health issues, it is essential to confirm that your chosen psychologist accepts WorkCover funding. This ensures that you can receive the necessary support without incurring out-of-pocket expenses for your sessions.
